His perfect blend of satire, cynicism, and cuttingly blunt deconstruction of both the world and the premise of a joke in general is fascinating to watch. Sometimes you can never be sure if his general disdain is directed to the very people laughing as he speaks, most classically in his rant to advertisers: 'Kill yourself. Just kill yourself. This is not a joke. Kill yourself'.
